Getting started

• What do I need to play?

  One iPhone to host, a TV, and a phone for each player. CouchClash is free on iPhone, for the host and for players. Players with an Android phone or a laptop can join in a web browser instead.

• How do I get the game on my TV?

  Open Control Center on the host iPhone, tap Screen Mirroring and pick your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV. Or connect the iPhone with a Lightning or USB-C to HDMI adapter. CouchClash then shows the game on the TV while your phone runs the show.

• How do players join?

  Everyone joins the same Wi-Fi as the host. On iPhone, open CouchClash and tap Join as player: it finds the game automatically. Or point the camera at the QR code on the TV, which opens CouchClash (or the App Store, the first time). On an Android phone or a laptop, scanning the code or typing the address shown on the TV opens the game in the browser.

• Players can't connect. What should I check?

  Make sure everyone is on the same Wi-Fi network (not a guest network that isolates devices), that CouchClash has Local Network access on the host iPhone (Settings › Apps › CouchClash), and keep CouchClash open on the host while you play.

AI packs

• How do AI packs work?

  In the host lobby, tap New Quiz, type any topic and tap Generate. In about a minute you get 15 questions at each level (Easy to Expert, or Easy and Medium in Kids mode). The first 3 are free.

• I found a wrong answer.

  Thank you. Shake your phone in the app, choose Wrong answer, and tell us which question. Every pack is fact-checked by a second AI, but mistakes can slip through.

• Where are my packs?

  Packs you write appear in your quiz list on the iPhone that wrote them. They're tied to that install, so they don't move to other devices.

Purchases and CouchClash+

• How do I restore a purchase?

  In the host lobby, tap the locked Game length row to open the CouchClash+ screen, then tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. An active CouchClash+ subscription is restored automatically on the same Apple ID.

• How do I cancel CouchClash+?

  Settings › your name › Subscriptions › CouchClash+ › Cancel Subscription. You keep CouchClash+ until the end of the period you paid for.

• How do I get a refund?

  Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
